Nebraska Central Railway (NCRC)
Overview
BNSF sold NCRC 18 miles of track from Central City to Palmer, NE in January of 2000. NCRC acts as a handling carrier for BNSF at open industries in Central City, NE, and all industries at Vayden, Archer and Palmer, NE. NCRC also operates 266 miles of former UP branch lines in Nebraska. It connects with UP at Columbus, Grand Island and Central City, NE.
