Omaha Lincoln & Beatrice Railway (OLB)

Overview

OLB, the Big Red Line, consists of approximately 5 miles of track. The railway once ran trolleys through Lincoln, Omaha and Beatrice, thus it's name. Today it operates as a switching service south of the state fairgrounds in Lincoln and at Ashland's gravel pit north of town. OLB interchanges cars from the UP and BNSF to industries such as ADM Farmland, Snyder, Lincoln Lumber Company and Ready Mix Concrete.
