Puget Sound & Pacific Railroad (PSAP)

Overview

The PSAP serves the timber producing, industrial and agricultural areas of Western Washington. The 150-mile railroad provides service for 14,000 carloads annually. Based at Elma, WA, PSAP is linked to the national rail network via connections to the BNSF at Centralia, WA and the UP at Blakeslee Jct., WA. PSAP transports lumber, plywood, pulp, chemicals, propane, fertilizers, feed grain, logs, aluminum, scrap and other metal products, as well as special components for the U.S. Navy.
