Plainsman Switching Company (PSC)
Overview
PSC owns and operates approximately 18 miles of track in southeastern Lubbock, TX. Formerly served by the SAW, the rail line was acquired in 2007 by PYCO, a processor and shipper of cottonseed oil and related products. BNSF is the sole carrier to which PSC connects. For a brief period of time, the West Texas & Lubbock Railway provided alternative rail service on the line.
