Richmond Pacific Railroad (RPRC)

Overview

RPRC is an industrial switching railroad serving the port of Richmond, CA and interchanging with BNSF and UP. Total operations consist of approximately 11 miles of track. The customer base includes Levin-Richmond Terminal (a private bulk cargo marine terminal with deepwater berths), Chevron, Impact Transload, Cemex, Channel Lumber, Luxco, California Oils, and SimsMetal America. The railroad was incorporated in July 1950 and took over the private railroad of the Parr-Richmond Industrial Corporation and was formerly known as the Parr Terminal Railroad (PRT).
