San Diego & Imperial Valley Railroad (SDIY)
Overview
SDIY operates freight service from El Cajon to a connection with the BNSF at San Diego (18 miles) and to connection with CZRY at San Ysidro, CA. The short line connects with UP at Plaster City via CZRY and has night time overhead rights on the Tijuana Trolley. Rule 11 rates apply to all traffic to and from Mexico. SDIY took over operations in 1984.
