Sand Springs Railway (SS)
Overview
The SS is owned by Sheffield Steel, who is their primary customer. The short line provides freight service between Sand Springs and Tulsa, OK with 32 miles of trackage. Connections are made with UP, BNSF and SKOL. Traffic handled includes steel, pulpboard, scrap iron, scrap paper, petroleum products, plastics and lumber.
