Tacoma Rail Mountain Division (TRMW)
Overview
The TRMW was created in 1998 to provide freight service along the 132 miles connecting Tacoma with a Port of Tacoma Industrial Park at Frederickson, Morton, Centralia and Chehalis. TRMW is called the mountain division because the rail grade of 3.3% is considered mountain grade. The short line interchanges with both the UP and BNSF.
