Citizens for Rail Security

Our Resource Protection team develops and administers homeland security efforts at BNSF and monitors our compliance with government rules, regulations, programs and recommended actions related to rail security. These Resource Protection programs include: Citizens for Rail Security (CRS), a program unique to BNSF. CRS encourages members of the community to identify and report suspicious behavior and leverages public law enforcement assets. More than 9,600 citizens and 777 partner law enforcement agencies participate in the program.

If you're interested in joining this effort, please visit the CRS website.
