Steel Products

BNSF plays a significant role in the transportation of finished steel and raw materials, for both long- and short-haul shipments.

We can assist you in reaching markets other modes of transportation may not be able to access. Our team will work with you to create a high-value solution to get your products to the places you desire, whether it is to a rail served location or through a transload facility to reach a non-rail served customer.

Browse the tabs below for more details on shipping steel with BNSF.

Because of our public pricing our business provides a level of transparency not available with other modes of transportation. By creating a level playing field in the marketplace, we offer a price that is commensurate with the value we provide and is often a better value proposition than alternative modes and providers of transportation.
