BNSF Coal: Memorial Day Operating Plan

BNSF's Coal Memorial Day operating plan will remain focused on meeting customers’ expectations. This year, the Memorial Day holiday falls on Monday, May 29.

Coal trains - both loaded and empty - will continue to operate according to normal schedules throughout the holiday weekend.

For interactive tracking 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s Tracking tool by logging in with your username and password and selecting Track Your Shipment. If you have questions regarding a shipment(s), please utilize the Message Us feature on the BNSF Customer Portal (must be registered/logged in to access) or contact BNSF Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.

Customer Support will maintain a limited staff on Memorial Day. Regular coverage will resume on Tuesday, May 30.
