Through ongoing work to provide you, our customer, the most up-to-date information, on February 1, 2023, BNSF’s ‘Trace’ shipment tracking tool will become your primary source for easy access to shipment status.
Since 2019, BNSF has offered two different versions of ‘Track Your Shipment’ to BNSF.com users. Going forward, BNSF will support, update, and advance ‘Trace’ with additional features. To highlight benefits now available, ‘Trace’ provides:
- Real-time information
- ‘My Trains’ view
- ‘My Cases’ view
- Alerts associated with individual car status
- ‘For Your Attention’ pop-out for visibility to Bad Orders, Overloads, Waybill Exceptions, On/Off Spot and In Jeopardy shipments
There is no change required of you as a BNSF.com user. ‘Trace’ will appear where you previously accessed ‘Track Your Shipment.’ The only change you need to make is if you have ‘Track Your Shipment’ bookmarked. If you do, you will need to replace that bookmark on or before February 1, 2023 with https://customer2.bnsf.com/s/home.
